There could be many underlying problems causing the problem. You being a novice, just a thought generally it starts that sort of problem at the 4th and 5th vertabra and the muscles that support the area. There are stretches that usually clear the problems, had a lot of dealings with the that sort of injury, brought on by bad maintainance.

  3. Yes it was as though any position i get in it would cause very sharp tight pain, it would come and go during the years. Reading what scrap said, stretching and massages did help. Best of luck fixing that, i've heard of blokes blowing out their shoulders like baseball pitchers and quarterbacks.

simply the messages for the arm and shoulder are sent through those vertabrea. When the pathways are wrong the wrong messages are sent, and the balance is lost with your biomechanics.

I went circuit training tonight but i put zero weight on it and was suprised what i can still do. Everytime push ups or burpees were shouted i just did squats or tuck jumps ect not ideal but better than nowt! :good

Johnboy, offhand I havent, get literature on Neurophysiology it will be there. One major player in the shoulders alinement our the Hips a major player in everything biomechanical. When not in line one side has to work overtime to keep the Head where it should be for stability causing major shoulder problems, at work get them to check your Hip line with your feet.
