dennis inkin is out again against carl froch

in comes former ibf supermiddleweight champion alejandro berrio. berrio has some good wins syd vanderpool, yusaf mack, robert stieglitz, can he pull off the win over carl froch? remember former wbc champ reid landing that huge overhand right a few times? if berrio lands one of his bombs it would be lights out?

i think berrio will be far to underprepared for this fight and although berrio is clearly a dangerous puncher (25 of his 26 victories are by knockout) his ability to take a shot is very questionable all 5 of his defeats are by knockout.

what do you guys think of this fight?

I heard rumour's of this yesterday. Has it been confirmed?

This fight could be a good one and although Berrio is pretty differeent from Inkin he will offer quite a few big problems for the Nottingham fighter.

I still pick Froch to win and still by late KO.

What do you all think? Is Inkin running scared, or is he really that sick.

Can't know for sure, but go on! Have a guess.

I am not impressed, but then I expected something like this. Carl Froch seems to have been around for ever, yet we are still to see him in a fight where the opponent hasn't just been brought in to pad the record out.

didnt markus beyer keep pulling out against david starie?

this reminds me of that. in the end beyer didnt have to face starie in the eliminator cos starie got beat whilst trying to stay busy

Berrio is a decent former champ who has beaten good competition. Different style to Inkin but still an hard fight and worthy of the eliminator status.

I feel that someone is running scared here. But anyway he still has a good opponent in Berrio, so happy days!

Crap news. Looking forward to Inkin v Froch. But Berrio is a quality late replacement. Froch really needs to get his ass in gear if he intends on ever being a world champ.

As replacements go this is a very good one. Berrio is a good name for Froch to have, i think henessey has done well with this one.

I think Brian Magee was brought in for more than just padding Froch's record and Froch coped with the task very well .

I hope Berrio was already on standby and training for a fight. Otherwise the result wont mean much.

This is winding me up. I'd have loads more V-cash now if I hadn't stuck a chunk on Froch-Inkin ages ago and so wasnt able to put so much on JC.

Hardly Froch's fault that Inkin pulled out again, Claypole.

    Disappointing news, though.
