Woop de do...... Thats 3 'world titles' they have in that stable. Erdie, Zsinzuruk and Inkin. Expect a another 11 year reign to commence. They might as well have thrown that belt to the bottom of the sea for what it's now worth. :hi:
Give the guy a chance. He beat a legitimate opponent to get that title. He may force his promoters hand, we don't know what type of personality he is. Dzinziruk is an exceptional case too. This guy is very difficult to promote for a variety of reasons. Still, he has a worthwhile fight coming up. A wasted talent no doubt. Erdei there is no excuse for.
Well, Inkin is a good fighter. A little bit soft jawed, so I'd lean towards Froch, but not by a huge margin. Inkin has no advantages at all over Kessler. Kessler negates all of his strengths.
Reckon Kessler fights Inkin?? Or is he gonna try and get his old WBC belt off Froch/Pascal?? Realistically Mikkel can win every belt now, taking politics out the equation that is
I think a lot depends on whether Inkin's promoter will let him fight Kessler. Hopefully Inkin is the kind of guy who asks for the big fights rather than pad his record against stiffs like Erdei does.
Well he pulled out against Froch twice, a cold and a bad back ? Inkin is fighting bums for good now. TRUE :zzz
Could have fought Bute in the IBF eliminator. Declined. Signed to fight Froch but dropped out TWICE! Has never fought anyone half decent ever...until tonight. ...don't put your hopes up. This guy is more an Erdei than a Kessler.
based on what? the guy beat someone legitimate to get that title , bit unfair to write him off already
He didn't duck Froch. He got injured and had to reschedule. Then he got the flu with two weeks to go before the fight. He was unlucky he couldn't fight Froch and Froch was unlucky not to get his title shot then. I always thought Froch would be the slight favourite against Inkin because there were questions over Inkin's chin. But Inkin going 12 rounds against a puncher and pressure fighter like Zuniga, who must have taken risks, going for the KO, suggests to me that Inkin should not be considered the underdog against Froch. I might change my mind if I see Froch dealing well boxing-wise with Pascal, but right now, as much as I hate the thought that Inkin is WBO champ, instead of Zuniga, I cannot talk him down as a fighter, nor can I make stuff up like "he ducked Froch".
Kelsser V Froch thats the fight that I want to see Calzaghe didnt fancy the Froch fight but that fight is the next best thing maybe if they can both win a World title first have a unification then maybe in London or somewhere like that
