Rubbish! Neither is he overrated nor protected. He has fought whomever was put in front of him.Besides unlike other fighters who have never left their cozy backyard he has fought in quite a handful of countries. Protected,eh! His promoter doesnt seem to care a fig for him,and he hasnt certainly been ready to invest some serious bucks on him or on some well known names. His Argie opponent floored him in round 2 of their encounter.Nevertheless Inkin won the fight.According to the fight reports(I havent seen it yet) the Argie could call himself lucky to be able to make it to the final round as he took a lot of punishment in the later rounds. By the way Froch scored a knockdown against Inkin at the amateurs, too. Nevertheless he wasnt the one who left the ring as the victor.Inkin won a point decision against Froch.
quote "Inkin won a point decision against Froch" Lol, doesn't count since they're both pro's now. calzaghe stopped chris byrd as a youth
Well, I am aware that the rules of the game are a bit different at the pros.Nevertheless that victory does give Inkin a little psychological advantage over Froch IMO.
Some fight fans here think quite highly of Froch. I recommend you to buy a tape of Froch vs Adamu! :hey Froch had a death and life struggle with that limited African who had lost fair and square to Vitaly Tsypko just about 10 days before. Inkin isnt a very spectacular boxer.Very often he is contend to win a point decision doing enough to win most rounds taking no risks. He is a good counterpuncher, and I dare to say that the better the opposition the better his performance.
