    According to this source: https://seihachi8.com/inoue-fulton-fight-money

Interestingly, I had seen other sources before this article quote a similar number in English, and there are multiple Japanese articles suggesting this sum. According to the article, Inoue is guaranteed a little over 4.5 million USD and is expected to earn about 5.7 million USD (800 million yen) after his PPV share. His highest total pay to this point was about 2.3 million USD vs Butler, and according to this source, his highest pay before that was in total about 1.6 million USD (230 million yen) vs Donaire in the rematch. If the Fulton figure is anywhere near true, Inoue is really becoming a breakout cash cow for the lower weight classes. Fulton meanwhile is supposedly guaranteed 380 million yen, which is about 2.7 million, and an unspecified amount of PPV will be added to that, I would imagine to the tune of 800k USD (based on 60-40 split) bringing Fulton's total purse to about 3.5 million USD if the PPV sales prediction is accurate, which is also absolutely gigantic for the weight class.

Apparently Inoue's promoter has confirmed that this will be Inoue's highest purse, with the guarantee being higher than the total of the Butler purse (and that the Butler 300 million yen sum was correct according to his promoter), but I couldn't find a direct quote from his promoter confirming a 640 million yen guarantee.

Those are huge paydays for those weight classes. Great to see these guys getting paid accordingly hopefully this will spread to other fighters around those weights. It's time that the smaller weight fighters start getting the respect they deserve and the paydays to match their quality.

I hope it's true. The sport's true P4P King deserves the pay day. Not only is he the best fighter in boxing, but he's been the most dominant athlete in all sports going back 10 years.

Yeah but how much of that will actually make its way into Inoue's pockets after the Yamaguchi-gumi family have taken their slice? Paul Butler said he was 'encouraged' by a few of their members not to let his hands go when he fought Inoue when they paid him a visit in his dressing room shortly before he was due to make his ring walk.

Mad money for 122, Inoue clearly becoming the cash cow at the lower weights.

Yoko would have fit right in with some 80's scouse hooligans chucking cinder blocks through the windscreens of fuzz paddy wagons.

The top brass at those weights have always made good money, if they fight top tier competition.
    But that´s 122lbs and up.
The guys at 118 and lower, they don´t get as much love as they deserve.

This is most likely a lie.
It says "reported abroad," but there is no such source. I have seen other statements that exceed $5 million, but all are unsourced and completely unreliable. However, past fight money is accurate.
For example, according to the Japanese sports paper "Sunspo," Inoue's fight money against Donaire was indeed 230 million yen (about $1.6 million), and against Butler it was 300 million yen ($2.1 million).
The same SunSpo reported a while ago that the Fulton fight would be the most expensive ever, at over 300 million yen, but no further details are available.

Also, this fight is not on PPV; it will be distributed for free by Lemino. Therefore, there are no additional PPV bonuses.

    Here is my guess.
The Donaire fight was distributed by Amazon prime. The Butler fight was distributed by NTT Docomo.
The reason why NTT Docomo got paid $500,000 more here is because they stacked up the cash to get the broadcast rights from Amazon.
The next game against Fulton will also be distributed by the same NTT Docomo (Lemino), so I do not think there will be a big increase from the Butler game. It will be around $2.8 million at the most.
