Will be interesting to see what happens this time. Nonito despite his age will no doubt be dangerous, he still hits very hard and in recent fights has looked lethal. Maybe we simply get a repeat of the first fight where we have a competitive 12 round fight but I suspect this time Inoue makes a statement. He's physically in his prime now and looks considerably bigger at the weight than when they first fought and I think while Nonito will have his moments, this time it will be far more one sided as Inoue breaks him down and stops him in the 2nd half of the fight.
I got Nonito doing an upset. It's just hard to win a close decision here in Japan against the homeboy so I hope Nonito would late TKO Inoue. I have a real bet against my Japanese dentist JPY10,000
I'd guess Donaire's extra confidence in this rematch against Inoue stems from knowing he now has a big target. He's coming in fresh this time and going straight for that orbital bone right from the get go. He is a pin point counter puncher he probably sees the opening. One solid bone breaking direct hit in that area just like the first fight and it could cave in. Inoue would probably box more in this fight and never let Donaire have that opportunity. Having said that, the nature of how Donaire fights, he would just punch with him anyway that's why there's very little chance that this fight could be boring. Expect blood, huge cracking fireworks!
Well, if I did bet my house on this fight it'd be on Inoue. This scenario is one boxing has seen before, the older fighter in a rematch with a younger guy that he gave his all against. It generally ends badly in rematches for the older guy and as has already been pointed out the first round could be telling in this fight.
This will be either another classic or a beatdown by Inoue. In either case The Monster comes out on top.
