just a little tribute to my favorite young fighter, and the heights i expect him to reach. This content is protected This content is protected
Bam is one of my favorite current fighters. Love his style. That said, I don’t think he has a chance against Inoue. Stylistically speaking I think Inoue is too sharp and devastating.
of course. well, not suicide, but ill advised. hes already more skilled, but its gonna take more to beat monster. hes gonna grow into it. thats why i put im coming, and not here i am.
his skill. his age. the 3 lbs separating them now. the lack of truly beatable big names available to monster. the clout hearn currently wields. theres more, but lets chew on that for a while.
Age is the only thing that’s in Bam’s favor. Let’s not pretend that Inoue isn’t a skillful technician, he’s always improving himself with every fight he’s in. If Inoue manages to blow out MJ or Fulton in the same manner that he usually does to his opponents then I just can’t see Bam having much of a shot.
whos pretending? who? point em out before this gets derailed. monster is 29, he wont be geting better. he will be getting smarter, but that will be a lateral gain when you add physical decline to the euation. bam is 22. hasnt finished growing vertically, much less horizontally. he is gonna get bigger and stronger in every dpt. his timing is gonna get better with experience. his ring iq, which is already off the charts, is gonna get better. his physical conditioning is gonna get better, hes only been 12 once. again, there are other things. but thats a mouthful already.
You’re already going as far as to say that Bam is more skilled than Inoue. It seems like you’re getting a little too ahead of yourself on Bam. Time will tell. We have to see how Bam does against other elite fighters before we make that assumption on his abilities.
