Inoue got his orbital bone shattered in the second round. That changed the dynamic of the fight. He then almost broke Donaire in half with a body shot and the ref blocked him by accident and then gave Donaire an extra long count.

Had he not suffered that injury so early in the fight, he most likely would have made a highlight reel out of Donaire.

I don’t remember his orbital breaking but damn, these guys need to be careful moving up. Trading punches with a guy with much larger frame than yours is dangerous ordeal.

Inoue has great power but it was somewhat exposed against donaire. Id like to see him fight someone like navarette.

Second round. Donaire left hook. Started bleeding immediately.

He's the best hit-man and body puncher in boxing right now.

The Donaire fight (technically KO 11) shed more light on his silky footwork, check hook, and jab. Inoue's versatile and destructive.

Just needs to move that head a bit more.

There's no way he is the biggest banger in boxing right now. He hit Donaire with everything including the ****ing sink upstairs and he barely acknowledged it. Donaire, who isn't known for having granite up top.

Dunno about that. The only person to stop Donaire was Walters who hit pretty hard.

Not saying he has a bad chin or even average, but it has been cracked so it is crackable. If someone is the biggest puncher in all of boxing and they hit a faded 37 year old Donaire with everything he hit him with and couldn't even make him flinch, then there's no way IMO that he can even be in the discussion. It was shocking what he landed on him, full power, full extension, so many perfect punches, and Donaire does nothing but advance on him and punch is head in. Like didn't even deter him, not even a little.

Naoya Inoue is an excellent fighter and is on his way to becoming a great, and as a boxer it is great to watch him and his technical ability and skills. But a lot of his traits are starting to get highly overrated to the point of fantasy. I mean people are confidently picking him to move up and KO Lomachenko. That's crazy! He barely survived against someone on SSDI. if that was a dog fight and not a boxing match I think we all know poor little Naoya would have been leaving in a body bag.

For reference, Lomachenko, who's fought 4 good prime fighters at their natural weight which is 2 weight classes above his natural size, has legit stopped 2 of them and had the other 2 drunk break dancing around the ring like idiots. Lomachenko, the guy thats supposedly a featherfist and would get starched by this dude. And he never even throws 1/4 the amount of power shots Inoue landed on Donaire, he chips away and gets them all messed up. They want no part of him and look for a way out. Inoue repeatedly cleanly haymakers Donaire and he just walks forward breaks his brittle little face. Ya, huge puncher. Biggest in boxing history.

Donaire is near shot, still very good but near shot. If a former BW great fighter who is way past his prime can do that to Inoue, imagine a prime natural FW who is also great?

Exactly. This dude is a tool. He literally landed everything he possibly could on Donaire and didn't even make him blink, and only made him walk his ass down and break his face.

Navarette for me is the best @ 122lb I'd like him to clear his weight first before say a Inoue fight.
Navarette is a beast @ 122 & also might clear out @ 126,I think he's Inoue hardest fight moving up in weights atm.

Lomachenko is not that small of a Lightweight. He won gold at Lightweight during the London Olympics.
