He himself is like a Japanese RJJ in lighter weights.

He is a better talent than Manny, Floyd, Roman, Usyk. Achievement wise im not saying greater but gun to my head hes a better fighter than weve seen since RJJ.

Nearly as talented + more skilled.

These predictions are always dangerous because all of a sudden something can happen. But seeing how Pac and Floyd had Marquez and Castillo in their primes, it would have to take a Tarver moment before he gets old to really knock him out of this conversation. Because so far he's flawless. Some might shout about Donaire, but he is actually less of a blot on Inoue's record than Griffin is on Roy's.

That's a very good description. This level of talent plus such great form is very rare. You could throw out Lopez's name, but he didn't prove it against bigger guys. And while I love me some Floyd at 130, he didn't even at his first weight have the kind of fight ending power Inoue has four weights above his first.

In terms of talent Inoue and Pac are in the same league.

In terms of skill, they're not.

I think 122 Pac beats Inoue. Too much speed and unorthodox power.

It's Pacquiao. Bigger, more athletic, more powerful and better offensively.

Edit: Floyd is more talented too

Pac lost to probably the best version fo Morales he faced. Yes, maybe he can be said to be still a bit before prime at this point, but the second fight against Marquez was definitely him in his prime and he couldn't really separate himself from JMM even then.

Inoue has so far had no one that could keep up with him. That might still happen before he gets old, so I won't say anything definite yet, but he definitely has the chance to surpass Pac in being untouchable in his prime. I don't think he'll ever equal Pac's weight climbing exploits, though. In fact, he shows how crazy impressive they were. As great as I think Inoue is I have a very hard time imagining him being the man at 140 and winning a title at WW (even at a catch weight) or beating the crap put of someone who then goes on to become lineal at JMW.

Don't expect to see Pac's achievement in terms of weight climbing being bested in my life time. Untouchable in his prime is another thing, though, since Pac wasn't.

He's this eras RJJ in his prime for sure. An athletic physical freak who has speed and power and makes it look easy.
