    He clearly lost to Solis, that was one of the worst decisions of 2016. Regardless a very impressive demolition job by Inoue.

    Shame the lower weight classes don't get the recognition they deserve, Still a couple of good fights to be made at bantam weight for the real fans but feather weight is where all the big fights are at.

    Lost to Kameda the first fight too. Second fight he won though. I expected Inoue to win but didn't expect it to be this easy in the 1st round. Funny how Carmona gave him a waaaaay tougher fighter.

    It’s a good win but he still doesn’t break into my top 10. Now he is in the WBSS, he will have a chance to put himself in top 5 maybe even top 3.

    Who wins out of Usyk and Gassiev breaks into my top 5.

    Based upon the available data you'd have to say that moving up has unlocked his power somewhat.

    He did re-hydrate significantly himself and he did skip flyweight all-together. Maybe this is going to be the right weight for him, which is a terrifying thought.

    I never rated Jamie McDonnell very high in world terms and struggled to see what tools he had to win the fight beyond size. Even so, I never imagined he'd get blasted out in a round. Great performance and sickening power from Inoue.
