If that remains the case and Inoue beats Nakatani then Inoue is back to number 1 pound for pound

Inoue is great and an ATG but Usyk is arguably the goat. While Inoue is dominating guys like Picasso who are younger than him, Usyk is knocking out modern day Tyson/Fraziers in monsters like Dubois coming off stopping AJ, Hrgybear, etc. On top of that he’s beaten behemoth of men like Fury twice who people were touting the greatest HW of all time H2H and a prime Joshua who had never been outboxed.

I love me some Inoue but he needs to beat an Espinoza to be even in the discussion of P4P #1 and tbh idk if he can win that fight even though he’s superior to him skill wise. Size is too much, something Usyk has overcome making him the greatest of all time.

Its tough to vote against Usyk being #1 PFP. He regulalry gives up 2-6 inches of height, reach, and 20+ lbs every fight yet still wins and usually hurts his much larger opponents. Kind of the definition of Pound-for-Pound...imagine if Fury, AJ, Dubois, Wilder, etc., were all shrunk to Usyk's size. How much more one-sided would those fights be?

Inoue is facing a better opponent but Usyk is carving an incredible run. Usyk fights Wilder and then hopefully once more, and only once more, to cement his legacy. Two time gold medal winner, undisputed at CW, twice undisputed at HW, undefeated, and always on the road. Special, special fighter.

    nah

The whole weight thing at heavyweight is overrated

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield already showed that

It's not like smaller weight classes where the extra weight makes such a difference

Why is it so hard for people to say "Usyk"

Not hard. All depends if you’re speaking Ukrainian or English when you’re saying it

    No not at all

Bivol lost the first fight and hadn't cleaned out his division like Inoue has twice

People love usyk for fighting bigger guys, but you rarely hear that credit given to Wilder even though he weighs less against these guys

its just a ploy to make it seem extra special. plenty of hw champs have beaten guys 30-50 lbs heavier. if you cant recall them or know about them, that tells you how special it is. an elite 220 lb man can beat any man in the world regardless of size. because everything is a trade off, including size.

Wilder was 225 in his last fight, Usyk was 227(career highest).

Exactly. Usyk is awesome but his fans exaggerate this point.

Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Chris Byrd to a lesser extent have all shown this
