This is dumb. Three men have come up from cruiser to win a championship belt....three. A handful of others in the modern era have come up from lower weights in the modern era...Michael Spinks, Byrd, Moorer...but very few of them have overcome 60 pound weight disadvantages. It's a hell of an accomplishment.

You know how to spell Usyk's name and it isn't Usysks, fix your thread title, or I'll start deleting every new thread you put up on sight. Which I should do anyway, since you're a horrid troll.

True, and I bet even today he could still make 200 if he tried, or come into the ring at around 215 without really trying at all. It really depends on what his goal is.
Usyk has had only 6 fights where he weighed in over 220lbs, since 2019. In that time frame Wilder has had 4. These days they pretty much weigh the same.

Dubois is far from an elite HW in the pantheon of greats, though. I wouldn't put him anywhere near Frazier or Tyson. This HW division is thin, and I don't want to diminish Usyk, but he is miles off being the GOAT, especially at HW, where he's had eight fights, including three rematches. Dubois nearly got blown away in 1 round by Lerena, who is a cruiserweight. He only beat Hrgovic through headbutts and turning his face into a crime scene. Let's not forget he made Joe Joyce look like a prime Larry Holmes. He's unbelievably limited, which is why Usyk made him look like an amateur in both of their fights.

Fury is another one who has a smoke and mirrors resume, including a razor-thin UD against a cagefighter who had never boxed before, and an L he should've had at the British domestic level against McDermott. P4P, it is Usyk and Inoue at the top, but I would definitely have Inoue above him because of the sheer volume of title fights and weight divisions he has cleaned up.

Agreed that Dubois win is getting way overrated. Early in his career I saw potential and I was hoping he would fulfil that but he didn’t. He’s decent but under the top guys, guys like pulev and Chisora etc woulda beaten him prime for and they aren’t anything special.

I edited the thread title for you, because I realized you might not know how to do that. Don't let it happen again though. You're starting a thread, if you can put in the effort to do that, you can do a quick Google search to make sure you've spelled everything correctly.

Usyk is 39 or about to turn so in 3 weeks fighting in a division full of giants way bigger than him, Inoue is 32 and is already talking about retirement and both he and many of his fans have expressed concern about him facing opponents who whilst bigger than him not by that much. It's deemed as criminally unfair to expect Inoue to fight guys who are much bigger than him, Usyk has been out on a giant and savage punching giant slaying rampage in their backyards and on the road for years

Please put some respect on his name or I shall be forced to perform public executions on all those who refuse to do so

    Thank you kindly in advance

I don't see any argument for Usyk being the goat. His resume is far too thin. If he beat 30 plus contenders he would start to have an argument.

Quality over quantity my friend, also probably got to count the portion of his amateur resume he fought without head gear since it’s pretty much just a pro fight.

And fighters who have 350 amateur fights fighting at a much higher level age faster than ones who had 81

Leprechaun Loma had 400 amateur fights fought at a way higher level than Inoue for most of his amateur career and was fighting guys way bigger than him at 135 and many big punchers but he was deemed prime by many at 35-36 with a billion miles on his odometer

Usyk has slowed down way way more than Inoue has. In fact, Inoue looks as fast, fluid, and agile and good as ever and Usyk is campaigning in a division full of giants who are way bigger than him and savage punching giants way bigger than him and he relies on speed, reflexes, reaction times, agility all of which diminish with age
