Agreed! There are too many people that always try to seek out the negative. If Inoue was a perfect fighter, people would critisize his wardrobe, our ringwalk music. They would find something wrong.
Seeing as the site's resident simpleton agrees, balance of probability guarantees he has a very sturdy chin.
What a repulsive thread, even for the threadstarter. The one question I still had of Inoue short of how he comes back from a defeat was how he would respond when hurt and knocked down, and he answered it with flying colours. This is actually a great example of why he's so good, not of why he's got some papier mache crumble chin FFS.
Thread for exposing Inoues fanboys ? Or someone legit thinking that he has a weak chin ? He has not. his chin is solid. As he moves up, he will get the damage, but he will survive a lot of things. It's just sad that he got dropped by that level of opponent and not by Donaire. Sadly lower divisions are too weak for him. I really want to see him get the challenge that he deserves.
I've now seen the fight, he was as clear as day, and Nery is a real hitter. If anything, it's now been proven the chin is superior, the durability is superior and the recovery is superior.................
Yes, the sport is infested with glass-jawed freaks who cannot take a pop on the whiskers from an old lady. And yes they need to be forcibly removed from the sport and placed in the stocks to be mocked and ridiculed mercilessly and pelted with rotten fruit by the general public. And let's just say if I was in attendance to vent my disgust at these freaks it wouldn't be rotten fruit I'd be pelting them with and I'll leave that up to your imagination. However, everyone takes a tumble at some point, the vast majority of whom in their first weight class, and Inoue is in his fourth now and he's fighting the elite in every division and is not ducking or dodging anyone. And he's not jousting PEDs in his ass to try and bridge the gap as he moves up in weight like so many of these other multi-weight champions are, especially North American ones. He's not running and holding like crazy to protect his mandible section like many who studied at the US school of slickness do. That to me is more shameful and embarrassing than getting KD. I wouldn't hold like a sissy even if I was out on my feet, assuming that I hadn't been blessed with an cast-iron British chin and that was even possible that is. I will say, or rather continue to say, that it's a different ball game when you're facing legit bangers and KO artists your size, let alone ones bigger or much bigger. Hence why we must shine the light of love and respect on Usyk and Loma for fighting so many legit punchers and KO artists not only their size but often ones who are much or way bigger than them. None of these other top 15 P4P guys are doing this routinely giving away the kind of physical advantages they are and if some of them ever are it's rare or very rare and they're still not giving away as much weight and reach. And if they were trust me many of them would've hitting that canvas like a yo-yo or not getting up when they touch down. And that is what I am talking aboot.
Well, I do happen to have some really good gummies on my nightstand, but that's another matter. To be clear I am not asserting that Inoue's chin IS china, merely that questions have been raised and therefore speculation is warranted. Forums like this exist, I think, for dedicated boxing fans like myself to raise such questions.
...and every one of those 40 has glass jaws! You know they had glass jaws because they were knocked out. Big punchers don't exist. Only glass jaws!
Yeah yeah took Donaires best but it's glass. YDKSAB. You are a troll who would be better served asking yourself why you crave other people's attention.
This is a flawed way of looking at fighters. Don’t judge a chin by a guy getting knocked down, judge it by what happens afterwards. Inoue got caught flush by a really nice left hook that he did not see. He was also off balance but he got up and took care of business. Great fighter with a great chin. I guess if we are nit picking every top fighter should be indestructible but that’s never the case. Solid shots on the button will put down most fighters, maybe all. The great ones get up and continue fighting. Joe Lewis is a prime example of guys getting knocked down and never quitting. That’s what matters most to me.
