    I used to take my son (probably 6 or so at the time) to weigh-ins back then as we were staying with friends in Glasgow now and again and they were easily accessible in places like shopping centres. He was totally bemused but usually rooted for Burns's opponents :)

    Taylor, being on the Inoue show added to the earlier Crawford card, totals 3 of the near future’s undisputed champions, boxing in Glasgow on two promotions.

    Taylor and Crawford winning their first World Titles in Glasgow as well.

    Next to no chance we see either Crawford or Inoue in the UK again.

    Tapeles was one brave MoFo.

    Deserves a rematch (payday) just for the guts shown and the fact he took it to Inoue at times unlike others.

    Superb fight.

    Yes Tapales stock definitely didn’t drop. I don’t think there’s anything that can beat Inoue other than size so may as well have a go. He wasn’t reckless and he looked for openings but it showed how good Inoue is that when Tapales made the tiniest mistake (if you can even call it a mistake) Inoue quickly pounced and punished him.
