For the top guys (champions), you’d think the promoters and managers would prepare contracts with not one, but TWO opponents for every fight: the main opponent, and a decent backup / alternate, in order to not scuttle the overall event. In the business world (which boxing is a part of), this happens all the time.

Comparing Scull to Goodman is crazy. I agree with the sentiment to an extent but Goodman is a deserving challenger

Inoue wasted everyone’s time by signing up for it.

Send him to the back of the line.

No more time should be spent on this clown until he get his act together.

This Korean they’ve picked as a back up is a complete waste of time. They should’ve cancelled the fight completely and found a new opponent for a later date. I’m sure MJ or Picasso would fight Inoue in February or March

Complete waste of time fight. This adds nothing to Inoue s legacy and present little to no challenge to him. This guy isn't even good enough to spar with Inoue let alone getting paid to fight him.

As for Goodman **** him, I wouldn't give him any other chance if I was Inoue. It's clear he doesn't have the minerals to step in the ring with Inoue.

I like Inoue but that is a terrible replacement. I think Inoue will win inside 2-3 rounds.

Aaron had his chance. Inoue KO 1 as far as I'm concerned. Or technically it's KO 0.

Time to move to up 126. If he fights again at 122 it shouldn't be against Aaron Duckman, perhaps MJ finally gets his shot to be the next one stopped.

Three back to back training camps means a very high chance of overtraining. Better he fights and gets a full rest period before restarting again.

MJ and Picasso both fought in December, so even at the earliest I'd say is March for Picasso. Knowing MJ's inactivity I highly doubt he'd take it 3 month later. Top Rank already has a fight with Picasso set for April/May so its a minor difference. MJ will probably end up in the fall with Saudi.

In Inoue's case, he already had a near full camp leading to December which got extended already by a month, and if he canned this fight he'll end up going into another camp immediately to make it for March which isn't very good idea. And don't forget, this is an Ohashi Gym promoted card that has several other boxers that were already training for it too.

Get the Jan 24th card complete with undercard and take a scheduled break.
Start another routine camp in preparation for April/May Picasso Vegas card then take a scheduled break.
Start another routine camp in preparation for Sept/Oct MJ Saudi card then take a scheduled break.
Start another routine camp in preparation for possibly Jan/Feb next year fight with Nakatani in Tokyo then off to feather?

    My crossing fingers hope.

With the way Eddie and Arum and Turki is talking, I'm starting to really see Picasso then MJ as the order.

Goodman is regretting pulling out of the fight his plan is to just show up on fight night and pretend that he never pulled out. He is just going to show up at the venue with his boxing kit. @WhataRock
