my plan is to fly to japan and see the fight and have a nice vacation at the same time. if i stay in another part of tokyo far away from the tokyo dome, is it just like a short train or bus ride to the tokyo dome?

Depends, it could be 1-2 hours away. I would be about 10m away by train.

For Inoue this is personal and he will have the training camp of his life. Wishing good health and savage revenge for Yamanaka!

Inoue will lay Nery out and I'm all here for it.

It's spread out, but I doubt you will be staying in the western suburbs. Most of what people think of as the centre is actually the eastern part of Tokyo.

Tokyo Dome is in Bunkyo ward. So it's pretty "central". On that map just think of Chiyoda as the centre, and avoid the wards on the outside edge, like Ota, and you'll probably be fine.

Actually, my advice would be just stick the location of the hotel you are looking at into Google Maps, and get directions to Tokyo Dome.

Just remember you are only going to Tokyo Dome once, so you don't need to be on its door step. It's quite easy to access. Though there may be a 10-15 minute walk involved.

Plus if you're feeling adventurous, the sleep pod hotels are available in Shinjuku.

    DUDE YESSSS!!

Inoue is definitely a favorite including for me but it’s gonna be a good fight!

Just also watched a clip of Nery being interviewed but Barrera saying he was going to beat Inoue (sorry, in Spanish). Seems his ban from fighting in Japan for failing to make weight for the Yamanaka fight has been lifted so he seems eager to fight there.

Are you referring to Nery missing weight by 3 pounds at 118 against Yamanaka? That is certainly one of the lowest acts a boxer can pull in my opinion. Saildo and JLC are particular examples that I recall.

Scum like this should lose their ranking, the fight should not proceed, and they should pay a fine.

    Addendum:

Maybe Inoue is looking for payback. ****er came in 5 pounds over the limit at 118. That is ridiculous.

At worst, you can catch the Shinkansen bullet train from somewhere that will take certainly less than an hour. As long as you choose your accommodation wisely. What kind of vacation are you interested in? The train system in Tokyo is unparalleled.

Inoue will dissect him then lower the boom around the 7th.

Yeah? Strange as Nery himself said in the video I posted that it’s been lifted but maybe not announced yet. (Or Nery could be dead wrong and still banned)

Either way, I hope it gets resolved soon and the fight is made. He also mentioned something about May so let’s remain hopeful.

This would be a great fight until it ends, I presume with Nery knocked out. However I do rate Nery and with his power he has a small chance.
