Just a vacation for a couple weeks in the city and take pics of nice temples or anything scenic. I can't say i'm into the food scene, but i was told ramen and sushi anywhere will be good. My main point is seeing Inoue fight though. It would be a risk to fly there and not able to get a ticket to his fight. Or i guess just enjoy the vacation if i can't get a ticket. I wonder if they have scalpers outside the tokyo dome for people wanting to buy. I might look at that option though within reason. I'm not gonna way way overpay.
Something tells me this fight is far from officially being complete. No exact date in May after two weeks since it's been announced means likely that Nery hasn't agreed to the $ or something. Or maybe some drug test? Wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled.
Nery doesn't have the negotiating power here, its all Inoue in weight classes up to 130 Most likely the hold up for the date has to do with JBC not yet announcing a lifting of the indefinite ban on Nery boxing in Japan as well as the venue, Tokyo Dome I imagine isn't easy to book (the last boxing event there was Tyson vs Douglas)
Does anyone know where to get tickets for this? Can't find anything on google / the usual event sites.
I wonder if i can get scalped tickets. Maybe go to Tokyo dome area like a day before or on fight day to see if someone is willing to sell. I don't mind paying up to $1,000 for a nosebleed ticket even.
Oooh I'm looking forward to this ...liked nery til he failed his 18th drug test Should be a fun little firefight til inoue flatlines him
