Inoue's next opponent, Paul Butler, is awful

He will not get into the HOF and you cant take that to the bank...he barely got any coverage when he was fighting and the people who vote for this dont even know who he is.

If having lots if title fights in this era of multiple belts was enough for a fighter to get in then the likes of Johnny Nelson,Marco Huck,Vorapin amongst others would all be in and they arent and never will.

It's not old but in boxing it is. Donaire at 36 is not the same as 25-32. He looked horrible for 5-6 years. He nearly loss a rematch with equally older Darchinyan in 2007. Charly Juarez punched him around the ring. Frampton, Magdaleno and the other bloke Walters ktfo Donaire. At super featherweight lol.

But Donaire came back down to 118. But to me he fought a bunch of no hopers. Really people were impressed. Certainly was not i. As the writing was already on the wall. That a fighter reaches a stage where his legs, timing and IQ are all gone.

I remember when Pacquiao got criticized for fighting old Barrera, Marquez and Morales. Who are only 4-6 years older than Pac. Then same should apply to Inoue who is a decade younger than Donaire.BTW Inoue should take the leap in weight to 122 and beyond see if he is good enough.

 

I wouldn't look into that Sultan win. Casimero in a close fight with Sultan would never get the nod. The cards were stacked against Casimero. Sultan was the in house fighter of ALA gym promotion. If you watch the fight. ALA boxing promotion LOGO was decked out on Sultan trunks, on his coach jacket and the ring.

And at Water front Cebu where by it's an ALA boxing promotion back yard. I am not saying Sultan was great. It was mainly Casimero was horrible in the fight like he didn't trained. But to me did enough to win. A horrible Casimero is still better than Sultan. Will always be!! He is 3 weight world champion. To be honest Casimero made Sultan hold and spoil in the fight. So clearly Casimero was the bawws and was actually hurting Sultan a few times. So he hits harder than Jonas boltan.

Casimero always goes into enemies den and sometimes cards are more than likely not on your side. That was the case with Jonas Boltan fight. And many other battles. He had damn chairs and bottles thrown at him in Argentina. Casimero seems to like the UK etc. But they too pulled a stunt there which was a bit fishy to say the least. With Buttles using a sauna to get a belt etc. So on and so forth.Butler is a SAUNA champion belt holder. Who got sparked by Zolani Tete.

Agree mostly about Nonito, even in his prime he wasn't that great lets just be honest, he kind of underachieved in some aspects & i'm not sure he would have beaten Casimero either like others here seem to believe, he also could have taken that fight by rescheduling but obviously didn't bother doing so for whatever reason,

Plus had Casimero beat Nonito in what ever way then would Inoue even be required to fight him again & even if he did i would bet that Knockout of his would have been that less special,

Even that delay of their rematch didn't do Donaire any favors but oh well,

Btw Pacquiao is only 2 years younger than Morales, 4 years younger than Barrera & 5 than Marquez.

 

Donaire left hook was his calling.He doesn’t have much in reserve when the left hook doesn’t fell opponents.Other areas of his game a tremendously lacking.More so as he got older.He started to resemble that of an old punching bag with no legs.Slower!

But made do with heart and depedable chin.But for how long? Although dropping in weight aided in his resurgence.But at this pt you have an old worn boxer with mileage on the clock its a factor to take note of etc.

Casimero would have had taken advantage of this and possibly bludgeon the slower older hittable fighter.Now i think Dinaire was looking at the money and chance of the beltS.Casimero was risky proposition therefor wisely redirected his focus else where.The Monstah.

 

Yeah Donaire & his no legs, also agree he didn't want it with Casimero, just the way Donaire's Wife showed her true colors there after was a real eye opener, though her previous Fighthype loving interviews let me know what kind of person she way before that ever happened, but this just took it to a whole other level,

The sad thing was when Nonito started accusing Casimero of PED's & out of nowhere Inoue just came along jumping on to the same accusations on his twitter about how Cas needs to be tested, etc, pretty weak move, like two guy's who just didn't want him involved regardless of the result while them two continued to buddy up their new found friendship,

Nonito always came off as balanced besides the time before he fought Magdeleno & lost, acting all odd with his weird ass haka dance in the press conference, that was another time he underachieved.

 

I can't begrudge Butler a decent payday. He's a cracking pro and an ex Champion who won Titles in real fights.
In the UK and Europe, these little fellows get paid in washers. I hope he gets a good few quid and is OK afterwards.
