I saw it, dude was definitely rocked to his core, I mean it's Joe Smith Jr. The man's got dynamite in his fists, doesn't mean Inoue doesn't hit like a train too.

Donaire turned his back and jogged around in pain for five seconds before dropping to his feet and was still barely able to beat the ten count (many think he didn't). That's a fifteen second count off a single body shot. Tell me how you can get closer to stopping someone than that (you'll probably mention Joe Smith again).

He has great explosiveness and swings for the fences too. His punches have a detonating impact to them, and the crazy thing is he's able to throw like that with literally any punch from either hand at any stage of the fight. Crispness, speed, consistency, versatility and heavy handedness. That's freakish power that I've never seen at the lighter weight classes before (although I'm not that familiar with the history of the lower divisions to be fair).

190lb Smith who due to his years spent doing manual labour has the strength of a 230lb man cracked an unsuspecting and mentally switched off 180lb Bivol flush on the temple with a massive right hand a split second before the bell and he couldn't even drop him when by rights he should've sparked him out cold.

Inoue KO84% beaten 7 world champions

Smith KO74% beaten 1 world champion

    Inoue's last 8 fights

Nonito only been stopped once in 46 fights and that was up at 126 (WUD12)
    Rodriguez never stopped before (KO2)
Payano never been stopped before (KO1) has subsequently been stopped by Nery in 9 who is convicted Mexican meat abuser
McDonnell never been stopped before (TKO1)
Yoan Boyeuax never been stopped before (TKO3)
Antonio Nieves never been stopped before (RTD6)
Ricardo Rodriguez never been stopped before (KO3)
Kohei Kono never been stopped before (TKO6). Kono has subsequently been stopped but only on a cut

Knocking people out is as much of a function as applying the power (skill) as the power itself.

Inoue didnt KO a 37 year old. Either Donaire fought to survive, Inoue doesnt have enough skill or Inoue doesnt have enough power. Which one is it?

You don't count from the punch you count from the time he touches the ground. He could have run around the ring for half an hour before he dropped. It doesn't matter. You don't start counting until they touch the canvas.

He has enough of both. Nonito has an iron chin and he has only been stopped once before and that was up at 126. No 118 or 122 pounder in the history of pugilism has ever floored Nonito, let alone stopped him. So the only 2 fighters in history to drop Nonito in 46 fights are Walters who had 5lbs on him and Inoue. That's it.

Joe Smith has only fought 4 world class fighters

Bivol who he was much heavier than

A 52 y/o B-Hop who he was much heavier than

Shaky whiskers Barrera who he would've been a few pounds heavier than or roughly the same weight as

And Fonfara who has a glass jaw

He's 2-2-0 (2 KOs) against them and if B-Hop was 37 like Nonito was against Inoue (in fact, he was actually 36 because he just tuned 37 a few days ago) as opposed to 52 he beats Smith so therefore Smith would be 1-3-0 (1 KOs) against world class competition.

This is also true. The ref physically put himself in between Inoue and Nonito and the later was actually down on the canvas for like 13 or 14 seconds. Inoue should've notified the police and pressed charges against the ref for assault.

Well yea. Smith doesnt have the skillset to apply the power against the top level fighters.

How are we making the comparison? Are we talking impact pressure, by mass? Or what? Unless we get all the top punchers in boxing to weigh in, and then punch a pressure gauge to see who punches hardest per pound of body weight, it's all hypothetical.

FFS... I was trying to pretend she didn't exist. I'd happily watch Inoue knock her out....

Tyson’s power is overrated, Foreman’s power is overrated, Wlad’s power is overrated... they all have decision wins on their record
