The Johnson stoppage was not even worthy of being considered one of his best wins, even if it was one of his most impressive displays. Johnson was punching bag and far from world class at the time Hopkins beat him. His accomplishments later on, having gained the neccessary experience to compete at world level, have made Hopkins's win over the young, inexperienced version overblown.

The DLH performance wasn't impressive at all IMO, as he should've been able to blow him right out of the water, but instead opted to box it out for a pretty lackluster fight that was far more competitive than it needed to be. The Tito win was his best win as a MW, and the best of his career, regardless of Tito's natural weight, as he had proved himself at MW, unlike De La Hoya.

that doesnt put things into perspective. you're just making an example of extremes.

pacman could never carry his weight the way oscar has (considering their height and natural weight), but oscar wasn't that far ahead when he began.

if he was this would just be a circus.

manny looks bigger (without seeing his physique, but as you would expect) in the latest pics, and oscar is (to be honest) a hardened and talented fighter on a losing streak who doesn't do a whole lot except attract crowds because he is the only fioghter who can pull boxing into the mainstrean when he fights.

oscar should win this no doubt - but he also sounds like a bad record nowadays like he's trying to prove that he "has it".

    it's an interesting enough matchup.
