Really, thats what counts. You made your own way from a bad situation and now youre reaping the rewards. Its good seeing Scottish fighters starting to do so well, especially when trained by a fellow Scot. Lets just hope we see Burns in with someone better than Cook next time.
Thanks for the info Billy, its great to know hes working with you, cos you will make him realise his huge potential:good & before anyone calls me an arselicker, its the truth. Just be patient & wait & see:yep
Not sure about insanely jealous. How about incessantly jealous or vindictively jealous...no no wait I've got it. ***** envy Alex Arthur - that has a real ring to it :good
It was Billy. Hope you're doing well. I can't believe it was 15 years ago. I PM'd you a while ago too.
:blood I couldn't mind who it was. :good It was a great gym, while it lasted for me, and a privilege to get my face punched in there.
Ask Peter or yourself...who was out daily doing the rounds with Peters stable....given what i know and have heard.......it wasnt Peter...........and it was pittance in regards to pay. As far as i am aware Billy Nelson was working fulltime.........and used any means possible to learn his trade.....be it swapping shifts etc etc. I agree also, being under someone such as Peter Harrison isnt something you would take for granted, though i wonder given Peters experience.........who is the next person to use his (Peters) knowledge etc and step up, Nelson has.........regardless. This post of yours is straight and honest...........though am sure theres a lot between the lines.
Firstly the stable was peter harrisons and it was not only billy that was in this camp there where others also it was peter that did do the hard work with all the boxers and billy also worked hard and was well paid with his education of working with excellent boxers and at the highest level . now billy would never have been where he is today without working with peter harrison so hairyhighlander with due respect your talking a load of **** . billy nelson has become a excellent coach because he worked and learned from one of the best coaches in Scotland now i believe that even billy nelson would agree without the education from working with peter harrison he would not be in the picture to get boxer like ricky burns willie limond kenny anderson craig mcewan . so before anyone starts to talk down the achievements of peter harrison they firstly need to be able to show they have done more than this man has done with his career. so this number will be few
