With Scottish Folk, its quite clear you have got a personal problem with Alex Arthur.

"I urge Alex Arthur to train hard, and regroup and work towards a critical comeback. To create the biggest Scottish showdown in the last 30 years of boxing, or in my memory"

Eh? I think every1 is condemning Arthur doing that, especially to a top man like Burns whos shown AAA nothing but respect, but doesnt mean that its time to write him off as a ****.
I think hes ok, a bit away with the fairies, but ok.

What a **** thread who's arsed ricky is a world champ and AAA isn't so why you arsed Billy. You shouldby take everythin to heart and I'm sorry to say but burns is not getting a fight against Fana Fwank knows what he's doing and he's not gonna take that massive risk. 3 poor opponent's now and the fans are starting to get annoyed. He has just defended his WORLD TITLE and was probably the 3rd most anticipated fight on Saturday. Not much you can do Billy but I can't see him in a unification fight anytime soon.

I'm sorry to say but Alex was never really that popular even with the Scottish public, i'm not sure why but he really struggled to get support. even in his home town of Edinburgh.

Testament to that is that when a 13 fight novice in Burns wen't into Arthur's back yard to challenge him for his European title back in 2006, the fight may as well have been in Glasgow by the ratio of Burns to Arthur fans.

My brother Lee was on the bill fighting a four rounder and we had a couple of hundred fans there. I was told that Alex couldn't sell 50 tickets for that fight and he was British, Commonwealth and European champion.

I think half of Coatbridge was there that night.
