Insanly jealous alex arthur

guys, can someone please fill me in on what the problem is with Alex Arthur? People in this thread keep going on about him being an "arsehole" but what is that based on? He came across as a decent guy on ringside, and there seems no actual evidence in this thread of anything to dispute that.

Maybe I've missed something he's done or said in the past and if so help me out.

Also, it doesnt sound that likely that he'd do what Billy is saying, maybe a gesture has been mis-construed and blown out of all proportion?

 

Billy did you help peter to train AA back then was AA always full of it back then

 

How about Ricky trying to avenge a one sided loss to Arthur ? Granted Arthur has slipped a fair bit and would need a few fights back and work himself into title contention but its worth remembering he gave Ricky a shot at his titles when he, like Arthur now, had **** all. Swings and roundabouts Billy.

 

I was at the Evenson fight for Scotlands only world champion making his first defense. The place was half empty. Very disappointing turn out and performance. Certainly wasn't travelling through to see him beat Laryea after that.

 

I agree.But do you seriously think Arthur the gobshite will be able to make 130?For him to say he will fight Burns IF BURNS moves up is laughable.

 

I think they showed Arthur's fight in which he beat the Georgian guy to win the WBO interim strap on that new box nation channel last night. I've sky plussed it, should be a worth a watch. Even at that point I think you could see see that Arthur was slipping as a result of struggling to make the weight.

 

Are you saying that you've improved ricky by 80%? I thought he boxed Arthur quite well for the first half of the fight , which was close, then tired in the second half. I remember Arthur been quite well marked up and Burns with nearly no marks at all. Burns would win easily, but don't think this fight will ever happen. If it does it will be a few years down the line when both careers are in decline and their looking for some money to make. Hope it never comes to that and both are able to retire gracefully.

Anways, AAA seems a nice enough guy but he hung off Wqrrens hobnob hell too much.....am basing this on his post fight ringside thoughts via the telly........and he got burnt.

 

You've scoffed at the notion of Ricky fighting Alex Arthur, Billy, so what's the point in this thread? You've already been quoted in the Scottish tabloids in regards to this incident, so it's not as if this is groundbreaking news - it just makes you come across as unprofessional and childish.

I went to Ricky Burns' defence against Laryea. I was on the verge of booking a ticket to the Cook fight when other things popped up that stretched my finances. I want to see Ricky fight the best and can appreciate that his promoter has a big say in who he fights and doesn't fight - but the more you're on here acting like a big wean the harder it is to root for your fighters.

Guilty by association and all that.

Alex Arthur has strenuously denied the claim he made the cut-throat gesture, and I for one believe him. ****** is gonna try to hype this up into another joke of a "world title" matchup. Billy Nelson and Ricky Burns might only fight who is put in front of them, but they need to show some pride and refuse any more of these awful opponents, it's an embarrassment to the sport.
