Very pleased to report that Kevin Mighty Mitchell is one of the nicest fellas i ever met, no ****.

Both him and Jimmy Tibbs were very welcoming, friendly and courteous to us.

Kevin is looking in fantastic shape, very slick, hugely impressive speed of hand and foot.

He breezed through 6 rounds of sparring today, looking sharper as the rounds went.

I also watched Bill Joe Saunders bash up a sparring partner or two, he looked strong, but perhaps a little heavy?

Finally, Ian Napa is unfeasably small.

Sorry about the pics, wish i had a better camera

IS he the chief sparring, or is Kev bringing in Katsidis-like pressure fighters?

    Thanks Stuey.

Kevin needs to follow Diaz blueprint. Don't go to far from Katsidis stay in centre of ring and keep him turning. The more you do that the more you turn Katsidis onto shots and trouble him. If he goes on back foot he's in for a long night ..has to mix it up.

Spot on Mandanda, give Katsidis angles and he's fooked, unfortunately ive never seen Mitchel do much apart from go in and out in straight lines, as good as he is he aint in Diaz's league for technique. Home support will pull an extra 20% out of Mitchel though so he has a shot.

Well, we'd never seen Murray step to the side the way he did against Thaxton. I think Kev can do it, but it's going to be difficult.

I'm becoming more confident in Mitchell's chances here. He can win this fight if he continues the form he showed against Prescott. It's going to be much tougher but he needs something similar. He needs to box, but he can't run too much either, sometimes he has to step in and let the guy have it. He needs a bit of both. You don't want to go blow for blow with the guy but it can't be too negative either, sometimes he just bordered on negativity.

I had a good chat with Kev today, he is really confident, but he also understands its a tough fight.
I promised i would not mention toomuch of what was worked on, but i think the game plan is a good one and am really hoping it works.
LHL, nope, he has some more in all this week though so i shall keep you informed
