I'm particularly fond of the interview here with Alexis, who seemed like a lovely, friendly and warm kind of human being that you'd love to listen to for hours at a time... He tells a few great stories here, including one involving the deadly Kim/Mancini bout and how it was supposedly an open secret that Kim was knocked out in the weeks leading up to the fight, which I had never previously heard. Lewis is a bit stiff in comparison and lacking in charisma despite his being a great fighter in his own right. Also love the "Rising Star" piece on Maurice Harris, one of my favorite 90's heavyweights who was in numerous great heavyweight scraps. Enjoy, fight fans. This content is protected
Great piece on Alexis. A genuine really nice man. No drama no pre fight BS no weight in BS ..matter of fact most of the time when he entered the ring he went straight to his opponents corner and shook his hand. Can you imagine that today with all the nonsense that is perpetuated!! Great interview from one of my all time favorites. A Gentleman. A Man
It's the best boxing documentary I've ever watched, scary good. Definitely give Toy Tiger a watch when you get the chance.
So no one else thinks the Arguello/Kim revelation about what went down in the weeks prior to Kim's death is a bombshell revelation?
