    I gave Kermit the benefit of the doubt even after the farce in the PW fight... but the guy's done now. He can probably be a decent gatekeeper and get a few more good paydays.

    is there any truth that on the day of the first margarito fight cintron stayed in his hotel room and was scared out of his mind. i read that somewhere after the fight was over a few days later. and who checked margarito's hand wraps before the fight that day? you guys didn't see anything unsual?

    Yeah Cintron is a paradox, he has flashes of brilliance followed by ineptitude, not sure what his deal is.

    You sure as hell called it. I've been saying Kermit's weak mentally for a long time myself. He looked like a shell of his former self tonight.

    Kermit lost the Margarito fight in training camp when he chose to cater to his girlfriend instead of prepare for what could have been the defining fight of his career.
    There was nothing unusual in Margaritos hand wraps. In Kermits first fight with Margarito he was never hurt by a punch. He was mentally defeated by Margarito, and by his own lack of preparation.
    Kermit actually has one of the best chins I have ever seen. Even when Martinez drilled him with that perfect left hand... he backed up to the ropes and took a knee on his own accord. If Kermit had the mental fortitude of Margarito... he very well may have been one of the all time greats. Unfortunately I have seen girls with more heart then him.
    I always joked that if Kermit was ever forced to strip down at a weigh in it would be revealed that he has a vagina.

    I don't think Kermit ever would've been able to beat Margarito, even if he was in a great mental state. Margarito would of minced any version of him, and done it in embarrassing fashion as he did, twice.

    Margarito is just a beast and way too much for Kermit.

    whats sad is you hate on him because he fired you... so obviously he made the right choice there, why should he carry around a back stabber in camp with him and reward him with a job?

    Last night that kid Molina was like a wet bar of soap in front of him.... very difficult style to compete with..
