Kermit looked like he was moving and punching under water Saturday night. It was sad to see, I was a big fan of the guy.

I think it in poor taste to air your dirty laundry on a public forum like this.

It says as much about the guy who started this thread as it does about Kermit Cintron.

well kermit didnt exactly keep it private by calling them amateurs and saying they have no idea on national tv.

They didnt have hbo to tell their side of the story to...

And from what ive heard marshall kauffman is one of the good guys in boxing keeping kids out of streets and promoting clean lifestyles....

Agreed While Cintron may be a ****, the thread starter has not one ****ing ounce of integrity or class! would you want to be associated with a professional who goes on line to air dirty laundry about someone they handled and had a falling out with? shows you the kind of person you would be dealing with.

The decent thing to have done would have been in spite of knowing all you know to have shut the **** up. When you fight with a pig all you get is dirty and the pig likes it.

By the way Im a retired Marine 20 yrs three wars and have seen my share of real violence, risking life and limb for God Country and Corps. Not to mention Honor and integrity you might really want to think about the last two.

When the day comes that you put your heart and soul into helping a person elevate and succeed in life, and that person turns around and betrays you, belittles your contribution to his life, and you in turn smile and shut the **** up then you can come tell me how I should respond to a person who took every opportunity he could to demean myself and Marshall.
And by the way... my father is a veteran of a real war. WW2. Earning 3 bronze stars, the distinguished service cross, and the purple heart. Liberated a concentration camp. 13 confirmed kills.
Funny that someone who brags about honor , and integrity would choose to insult a total stranger for defending himself against accusations that had a direct affect on my reputation in the boxing world. Look up the word hypocrite.
I would like to see your response if someone attacked your reputation as a soldier. Perhaps calling you a coward... or insubordinate. Or, maybe if you achieved certain accomplishments as a soldier and someone went on TV, the internet, or your local news stations and newspaper and called you a liar saying you lied about all your accomplishments. What about if someone else took credit for something you did as a soldier?
I suppose you would just shut the **** up? If you say you would not defend yourself then not only are you a hypocrite.. you're a liar to.

You don't know what Honor and Integrity mean.

This comment shows what you're made of:

You just spit on RafaelGonzal with that comment, implying he's not a real solider who went to war.

Like I said, real classy there.

I'm not sure what you are doing now but it seems like your experience and success with Kermit should be used to your advantage in soliciting other fighters to work for. Instead, it's a small world and I'm sure other boxers are aware of the campaign you are running here and won't want to work with you.

If Kermit would have won Saturday then I doubt you would be posting here this week. Am I right? What are you getting out of kicking the man while he is down?

I understand you did a lot for him but I'm sure it was also for your own personal fulfillment and satisfaction so you need to let it go. It's like people who donate a lot of money to charities and then expect to be lauded for it. Was your work with Kermit really a selfless act like you are claiming it to be?

I think he needs some sort of counseling to help him deal with his loss... Obviously this has hurt him drasticly so much so he has kept this thread alive for nearly 4 years...

Never said it was selfless. Never once. What I said was Marshall and I went above and beyond what was required of us as trainers and managers because we had developed what we thought was a strong personal relationship with Kermit.
Him moving on has never been the problem. Him moving on and bashing Marshall and I on tv, internet, newspaper, and magazines is what the problem is.
From the very beginning the deal was I would back him financially, help train him, and help manage him. If we were the success I thought we would be in the long run and there was real money to be made... then great. If Kermit turned out to not have the ability that I thought he had then no problem... he didnt owe me a thing for what I invested along the way. Can't be much more fair then that.
The thing is... we did succeed. Every decision we made was the right one. Every opponent we picked was the right one. Every thing we did in training worked and made him a better fighter, and a better athlete.
The a girl comes along, and all of the sudden he wants to do everything different. He goes through the motions in training for the biggest fight of his life, and allows his girlfriend to dictate his every move. He loses because he wasnt at all prepared for a tough fight then turns around and blames us.

Are you defending someone for being insulted???? Why don't you show some class and integrity and shut the **** up like the Mr. Marine instructed me to. Another hypocrite.
