Lol, Elio Ortiz and TEddy Reid. Reid had already been TKO'd by Ben Tackie and decisioned by Golden Johnson. Elio Ortiz was stopped by Reid, he lost to Mitchell by wide decision, lost to Omar Weiss and also was stopped by Mayorga a few years earlier. He was top ten in name only, hadn't beaten anyone before, unless you count a close decision over Ray Oliviera as a big win. Reid despite the losses I mentioned was a decent win. He didn't have any big wins with you. You guys managed him carefully and that's why he had so much success. Cintron is skilled which is why he went on to beat his best oppposition AFTER you guys parted companies with him. Martinez was a gift draw but given what Martinez has done since it's an impressive performance in retrospect, beat Angulo legitimately and also was giving Paul Williams a good fight until he decided to fly out of the ring. His loss to Molina is only his truly bad performance since he left you guys. Don't think it would've made a difference one way or the other. I think it benefited him since I've never heard of your management group and am unaware who you've managed since.:good With your rambling about Cintron I wouldn't expect any new business coming your way, no offense.
:roflI just reread your post and you said "the only good fighters CIntron fought since he left us were Angulo, Williams and Martinez" Lol. Your anger and jealousy have blinded you. I guess Elio Ortiz and Teddy Reid are on the same level as those guys. Martinez is considered top three in the world pound for pound. Williams was the best welter at one time and Angulo nobody wants to be in the ring with. Of course compared to Reid and Ortiz they are nothing And Angulo got dominated by Cintron, he didn't eek out any decision. Everybody who saw that fight saw him dominate Angulo, something no one had done before or since.
Cintron also rematched Margarito, brutally knocked out Mayttesse as well after he left them.... Whats funny is the Teddy Reid arguement, this guy was knocked the **** out by Benn Wonder Tackie:hi:
He was never off his feet against Tackie, and was weight drained at 140. Get a clue. Kermit was the first to put Teddy Reid on his ass.
Yes he did rematch Margarito, and lasted roughly one minute longer then the original. At the same time showing all the same mental weaknesses he did in the first fight.
:rofl According to the juicehead who was his conditioning coach/spit bucket holder if it hadn't been for him and that other clown Cintron wouldn't of been 24-0, 22kos. Apparently if he still was these two morons Cintron would be pound for pound#1. Also, I like how he mentions that Rahman was 7-0 with seven Ko's under his tutelage, look at boxrec to see who rahman beat while on this streak:rofl
Elio Ortiz... while never a world beater had hung tough against some very good fighters, and beat a few good fighters. My point being that Kermit did what he was supposed to do... he dominated him every round, and left him unconscious and draped over the bottom rope. He didn't struggle the way he did with 15-5-3 Feliciano, 18-2 David Estrada, or lose to a guy that's 18-4-2. Anyone that underestimates what Teddy Reid was capable of at welterweight is just stupid. One loss at 147 b4 Kermit... a close decision to a prime Andrew Lewis.
Juicehead? I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs of any kind. never have in my entire life. As for Rahman... to get started with him at 308 pounds, and get his weigh down to 236 at one point and keep him winning. Yeah I am proud of that. Especially given the decline in his over all ability. Tell me what is the need for the name calling and insults? Obviously we are all strangers to one another, and I have never done anything to anyone on this forum. So please explain to me why you feel the need to make personal attacks on my ability to do what I do when obviously I was successful at it. You all condemn me for defending myself against the disparaging remarks Kermit has made against me... yet here you are attacking me, and defending Kermit even though all this post was originally meant to do was defend myself from the false accusations and blame laid on me by a cowardly individual. Juicehead? Moron? Spit bucket holder? That's the best you can do? What have you accomplished in boxing? You ever fight? Ever train anyone? could you duplicate what Marshall and did?
I like calling people with big muscles juiceheads, so sue me As far as spitbucket holder and moron that's subjective given my perspective. I do think that your insight is useful given your close relationship with Cintron and I think your analysis of Cintron being weak-minded is also accurate, as any man who allows a women to tell him to do anything isn't worth too much in my opinion. Having said that to make comments about Cintron's class of opposition before and after you trained him shows a clear bias. Look at boxrec for Cintron and look at who he fought before and who he fought after that first Margarito fight. As far as your training and conditioned ability is concerned, I think what a fighter does is based on his talents and desire and not so much his trainer. However trainers that have a bigger stable of fighters are generally able to get their fighters bigger fights and connect them to better promoters so I think Cintron was wise to move outside your management team. In fact you guys shouldn't of had CIntron on a ESPN ppv. That itself was a stupid decision, why not put him on a HBO or Showtime card against Margarito. Instead he was fighting outside in a cold rain which defintely didn't enhance his performance. I don't think ESPN made too much coin which is why it was their first and only PPV card. Also, Rahman was always an up and down fighter so you can say you trained him but his success or failure is indepenent of your relationship with him. That's my two cents:bbb
atsch:deal The date Tackie knocked out Reid 1/25/2002 you get a ****ing clue you roidtard http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=15479&cat=boxer
Bazooka. All Conditioner has ever claimed was that Cintron was the first to put Reid down. Ben Tackie got a TKO while Reid was on his feet.
Thats not what I recall from that fight, I remember Tackie putting him out cold... and Atlas talking about Tackies trainer who couldnt make the flight, to not worry they did a good job etc....
I just watched it. Was stopped on his feet. (I only just watched the ending though so unless he was put down earlier in the fight)
Did you see here is says TKO? I have the fight. We watched the tape in preparation for Kermits fight with Reid. He was never off his feet in that fight, and never was until he fought Kermit. LOL you should just keep quiet... adults are talking here.
