i was kinda surprised that so many people were that sure about an angulo win before the fight.

I am glad I did not buy such a fight, I knew better. Problem is that Promoters get by with anything and the fans pay for it. They even make fun of boxing fans, just like the judge who resigned after giving a decision to Bradley who did not earn it..............

i win over Angulo is decent at the best of times. i win over that version of Angulo is worthless.

but it doesn't take away from the fact that it was a very good performance from Canelo. he put his punches together at a high tempo which was actually nice to watch. no stamina problems on show here.

when he started to go on the back foot after the 4th by choice, i did think that he had a problem. but no, all was good in this department. maybe the extra pound was healthy for him.

no more easy nights for him though, he needs to step in with Lara.

Canelo came to fight and fight he did. Kudos to him. El Perro was unusually tentative, but you can't hang that on Canelo.

I wish the commissions would do something about coming into a fight at 174lbs to defend a 154 lb title. It's not just this fight but most it seems.

Some have compared his style to his dad's. His dad had more evasive head movement and general defensive skills.
