Give me a break Cotto punches were way more effective than Shane's punches, and I actually gave Cotto rounds 11 and 12. Cotto was'nt on his "bicycle" he was fighting off his backfoot countering Shane when he was pressuring and Cotto won rounds 4 thru 9 in my book but I admit that round 9 could have gone to either fighter BUT Shane did'nt do anything in that round until the round was under a minute left.

exactly, even though Cotto was backing up he still threw and landed hard punches. . . not pitter pat and run type punches that Fraud threw with Baldy.

I wouldn't have minded seeing another rematch, but we really don't know all the reasons why there was no rematch. But if you say why did Cotto fight Gomez instead of Mosley, then why did Mayweather fight Hatton instead of a more deserving challenger in Cotto or why did he decide to face Zab Judah who was coming off of a loss? Bottom line is Cotto-Mayweather needs to happen.

Is that why Baldomir's face looked like swiss cheese after he fought Mayweather and Mosley looked like he had just been at a health spa?

Floyd with a broken hand no less. :bbb

Hatton is a top 10 p4p fighter, with probably the largest fan base in the world. Dont compare him to Gomez, even I dont like Hatton but please dont insult the man personally like that.

And I know this point is not important but you can tell by Shane deameanor before the decision was announced that he did'nt win the fight while Cotto seemed very confident.

Are you denying that Cotto landed harder shots on Shane than Fraud did on Baldy??? If so you are the worst nut-jockey on ESP, even worse than the most dedicated pac-sexual.

Sorry Baldomir looked tore up from the floor up. Floyd did that with one hand. Shane looked like he could go another 12.

If Cotto hurt Shane badly at any point in the fight, he sure didnt show it. Cotto isnt a one hitter quiter thrower, he wears you down and then stops you, he doesnt have a one punch KO against better fighters, as shown by Shane, when he realized Shane wasnt worn down, he quickly got on his bike.

You are leaving out the fact that Baldomir is at least 3 levels below Shane. How do you think he would have looked had he fought Cotto?

I'm not comparing Gomez and Hatton skill wise at all. True, Ricky Hatton has a huge fanbase, but that doesn't mean that he was the most derserving challenger at the time. Look what happened the first time Ricky Hatton stepped up to Welterweight, he barely escaped with a victory. Then you are going to make a return to that weight class against the p4p best fighter in the world?

Cotto does'nt have one punch KO power in general that shows how much you know.

On top of that, he admitted after the Collazo fight that 147 was too much for him. He had no buisness, besides money to be fighting at that weit.

I hate to say it, but their should have been a rematch. I do think that the fight was close, but Cotto was using his jab which was the difference. hONESTLY EVERYONE ON THIS BOARD WOUOLD HAD WATCH IT OR EVEN BOUGHT IT.

Are you implying FLOYD has more power than Cotto?
