It's to point out there are some people who don't just believe what they are fed by people in suits. I can guarentee you 95% of the general population just repeat whats on tv. Look at what Teddy Atlas did to jeff horn in the publics perception. Everyone just repeated what teddy said. If you watch the australian broadcast of the fight (which had an american commentator by the way) it was a lot more calm and neutral commentary. You will be suprised what that does to your mind and the way you change your perception just because of someones voice in your ear for half an hour. I personally think this is one of the most original thinking and interesting threads posted on this site in a long time. Much better then a 'spence v thurman - who wins?' Thread. But each to their own. You might enjoy consensus opinion. Makes you feel safe in your personal thoughts. Nothing wrong with that. Just try to think outside the box every now and then.
YOu must be new because broadcast influencing peoples view of fights has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum. For years. Yeah.
The manipulation is scripted and done with sophistication so the average person is unaware of it. The people hear what they want to hear. This 4th grade dropout is exhibiting a high IQ by virtue of his in the ring performance! It's actually quite ridiculous to behold.
