Interbox and Bute should do their bit to make the Miranda fight!

    NO,it is not a done deal yet,but I guess it will really come off. Sauerland's promoter stated in an interview that he would stage Bute vs Larsen in Denmark's capital. Have a look at the thread "interviews,Vitaly,Kohl,Sauerland" in the european section,decebal!

    Just heard on radio the communication guy from Interbox claming that they have other things in mind and that Miranda might get a chance at Lucian if he takes on a couple of top 10 SMW first. So, It's seems that we won't see Bute vs Miranda soon.

    ESB is also stating that Mad Larsen will take on Ross Thompson on the Abraham undercard in Kiel.


    Now, who is left to fight Bute in May ?


    Please give me the news.

    Miranda was #1 MW across the board before getting beat from Kelly. Why does he not deserve to be top 10 at SWM???

    I am not referring to his skills - I rate him good enough to be top 6 till he beats someone at top 5, but whom has he beaten? Allen Green and Eastman? Got two title fights and lost them both. All of these accomblishments have been at MW.

    Should he sidestep Braehmer, Andrade, Tsypko, Bika, Lacy and Inkin or even Beyer?

    Beyer he'd beat...he's been finished for a long time...Miranda wins by KO.

    Lacy...well...he's done...I'm not sure he can hurt Miranda...would be a close fight...I have Lacy just outside the Top 10 somewhere...Top 12-13...Braehmer...I'm not sure about...Top 11...very close to Miranda...it's 50/50...I have Tsypko and Bika inside the Top 10, slightly better than Miranda...Andrade, definitely better - top 6 for sure. Froch/Inkin - top5 is for the winner. There is Taylor too...of course...

    Anyway...if Miranda is not Top 10, he's very close to it...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

    Larsen just said he needs to stay busy for a title fight later this year. Larouche from Interbox, said he wanted Bute to fight outside Canada to get used to a hostile crowd. Bute said this morning he would know very soon who will be his challenger. Larsen fights the 29th of March. If he wins, he seems to be the guy.

    1) I think you are counting out at least Lacy too soon, but okay
    2) Should this grant him a title fight? If it's not for a title, then what's the point? Wasn't it bad enough Manfredo as no. 10 got a title fight vs Calzaghe?

    You need to watch the Tsypko and Manfredo fights for Lacy.

    Miranda is a better opponent in an optional defence than most, inclusing Mads Larsen!:deal

    Who is out there better than Miranda, for an optional defence??:huh

    I wasn't refering to skills(or lack thereof) as explained, but by accomblishments. Had Miranda been european, would he even have gotten 1 title shot at mw? Much less two. Much much much less three.

    Furthermore I have explained that I found him perfect for Bute, both due to the Kessler thing, and due to his popularity(deserved or not).
