the woman who said 'we want benn's money, then we want him dead!'? **** her too, of course i have sympathy for her having to look after her POS brother for the rest of his/her life, but she said some ****ing unnecessary **** after that fight.

benn attempted suicide, that fight ruined him, but all she wanted was revenge and for benn to suffer.

Nigel Benn is a great guy and I hope he reads this thread- despite his losses in the uk he achieved arguably more ( by beating the best in usa and holding a legit belt) than any british fighter i can think of.

i often watch Oliver McCall when he throws a lot of his combinations, he blinks three / four times on his way in .. (its very odd to watch) I guess its morelike anticipation of getting caught by a counter punch.. That is a very good observation Iceman, Gerald won his title on a night that i was in another fighters team at the thomas and mack.. I remember how he used to touch his forehead during fights and blink.. its a shame, i did like him..

If you have pets, specially dogs and some guy comes over and starts cutting them up, torturing them for fun...im sure you'd just shake his hands cos his life is more valuable than your animals...

Yet you are making judgement on him by reffering to him as an idiot...without knowing him. Hypocrite?

I'm convinced it was actually Jackson that put the timebomb in there.

Well I guess we differ in opinon. I do not care for the life itself, but the person. A psychotic murderer in prison can rot in hell for all I care, his life is meaningless to me, infact it is a nuisance and so is its existance. My pet's would bring more joy to me than some psycho's life therefore I would choose my pet, an animals life over that psycho'shuman life. I believe it is the same for everyone wether they know it or not. People would be very sad if their dog died today, yet millions die everyday but they couldnt care less because they dont know those people and their lives have no bearing on theirs. Between spending £1000 a year to feed some starving kid in africa and feeding their dog, most people would choose their dog. So in that sense, yes I put more value on a person rather than what kind of life it is, animal or human. In this case I believe Mclellan to be a scum so I really couldnt care less for him.

You are judging him based on his post and calling him an idiot. The other poster is judging Mclellan based on his actions of cruelty against animals and calling him a scum. Sounds very simmilar to me. You dont know Bin Laden or Saddam but Im sure youve judged him based on what you know of them...this poster is simply doing the same thing with Gerald.

all a bit harsh for me a shame imo i enjoyed his fights but no hiding from what goes around comes around but had to be more than a bit of dog fighting to warent that imo

It was also PHYSICALLY and FORCEFULLY INLUENCED AND HELPED BY REFEREE ALFRED ASARO!! :fire Allowing it to continue wasnt as BLATANTANTLY TERRIBLE as the interfering, bad timing, pushing off, and admonishing that TOOK PLACE after the KD!!! There was over 2 minutes left and Benn was in no mans land. Without Asaro's biased OR APPARENTLY PAID MIS PERFORMANCE?? It's at least very likely that Benn never makes it out of the 1st round.

Without Asaro? It would have been McClelland KO 1 and perhaps not suffering the hemorrhage as he hadnt taken many shots to that point:nono Maybe he could have gotten tested afterwards and had different choices and options. What he was getting piad and how Mcclellan got used is beyond:-((

Ultimately, that tragedy is a BLACK EYE on the SPORT!! McClellAn had more bills and problems the function and money and there was VERY INADEQUATE SUPPORT. It clearly indicates a need for some improvement in the financial and medical handling of its fighters in cases like this. Credit Roy Jones Jr, who was a real friend to McClellan, and pot his money where his heart was at.

If McClellan was hurt before as is suggested? Raises some more questions :-(

I STILL SAY :fy :finger :finger5 to the REFEREE. I wonder how well he sleeps at night:huh

I have no sympathy for animal abusers either. An animal can't defend itself.
