The 90's heavyweight scene could have been so different had he turned pro he may have lacked stamina but who knows what he may have been like over the 12 round distance he has beaten so many future world champions and top level pro contenders you would have to think he would at least have been able to compete with those at the top

He beat: Brewster Chagaev Briggs Tua Ibragamovic Solis Bentt
Im sure there are more but makes you wonder he surely could have at least reached contender status as a pro if not gone on to hold a world title

yeh he had some skills, like watching him as he is a good boxer, tall and rangy with serious whack.

One of the best fights I have ever seen amateur or pro was Martin Conception v Jimmy Fletcher in the ABA Quarter Final in 2003 in Sheffield...:yep

It was toe to toe from start to finish...:bbb :bbb

Fletcher got the nod on the night but I thought Conception got it...:deal

Savon stopping Tua in the first. Even though Savon was obviously the better amateur, seeing Tua momentarily stopped is weird enough as it is.

Yeh, great scrap actually, both boys fought like pros in it. Tzsyu was way more experianced and won clearly but Forrest acquitted himself well and won the first round.

Momentarily? His head nearly came off.

I wouldn't read too much into his stamina in the amateurs..... freedom to eat would have helped him plus it can always be worked on.

DLH was an 8 round fighter at best and he had a top career :deal
