That's an Ali article...I think you posted the wrong link. Did you mean to post a link to SI's 1977 article about Monzon-Valdez II? I remember that story when it came out in 1977. Excellent story. Monzon is fascinating study, both as a fighter and as a personality. I have a question: I remember Monzon's blonde-haired movie actress girlfriend from 1977, I think her name is Susanna Giminez. Is that the same woman that Monzon killed in the '90s?

Dundee appreciated Monzon more than most. He even said "you don't realise how good he is until you see him in the flesh"
thats means alot to me i really hold Dundee in high regard. Well on film Monzon looks great so in flesh he must be an amazing fighter but im sure taht could be said about any fighter.
