http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ot...-Brit-poor-preparation.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Interesting, it may sound like an excuse but really, if he wasn't prepared that's all his fault, and, secondly, losing by 3rd round tko being dominated won't make it seem like "well, if I was fully prepared I would have won"
He wasn't unprepared, you could see he was scared shitless of Katsidis, as soon as the first clean shot landed Mitchell was on ***** street, Katsidis could see he was **** scared so stalked him down. It was painfull to watch because you could tell the stoppage was coming.
Saturday. Today is Monday, unless you have a working Delorean from Doc Brown's garage! Mitchell was in reverse from the moment he got tagged and although he appeared to be boxing well Katsidis was a monster in both size and determination and you could absolutely tell that the KO was coming. In fact as soon as I saw Katsidis in his changing room before the fight I told my wife don't worry this one will be over quickly (she was moaning because she wanted to play Xbox and didn't want to wait until 11.00pm, lol)!
This whole poor preparation thing should never have been brought up. It's nothing more than a poor excuse. Anyone going into a career defining fight has to put their personal life temporarily on the backburner and all their focus into training. That is the least required of a potential world champ. It really gets my goat when fighters like Mitchell **** away their opportunities through lack of focus only to blame it on bull**** excuses, expecting to get another shot at the bigtime. Warren will probably give him it. Poor preparation or not, Mitchell looked terrified of Katsidis.
Poms always have to have an excuse, they're the worst winners and the worst losers. Besides, I think the sporting nation was more focussed on a different England Vs Australia sporting event where England scored the KO on the Aussies.
