Jim Watt, former lightweight world Champion was commentating for British TV (which i watched) and commented (on Klitschko) something along the lines of "I've never seen a fighter at this level look more terrified and scared. He just doesn't want to be in there. It's difficult to believe he's done so well."

    I'm inclined to agree.

Klitschko is just so scared of being hit, he absolutely refuses to engage unless hes 100% sure his opponent is out on his feet.

Hey, for all we know Klit has been KO'd multiple times in the Gym, I don't know. But it is very unusual to see a World Champ and recognised best in the division be so...timid. He threw one four punch combination in the 8th Round, that was it. :huh

Wladimir has lost a lot of fans tonight, this was a horrible spectacle. Very disappointed, especially as I thought Wlad was at the point in his career where he was really maturing and getting ready to dominate.

    Bring back Ruiz & Byrd.

Seems to me it was Ibragimov who was scared of being hit.

I wish all the experts posting "Wlad Sucks" would realize that boxing is about offense and a thing called defense. Lets look at the facts: 1. Wlad was in against a known KO artist. 2. Wlad was in against a southpaw. 3. Wlad was in against a guy with very fast hands. 4. Wlad was in against a guy who counter punches for a living. 5. Wlad was in against a guy with a proven steel jaw.

The last guy to have all of these qualities that Wlad fought was : Corrie Sanders.

So anyone who knows boxing will conclude that Wlad fought the perfect fight against a person with all of the above qualities. Wlad did everything right and didn't drop his defense once. There is nothing, and I mean nothing wrong with that. I will say that Sultan is a tough son of a gun. Those punches would have ko'd anyone else. But he hung in there.

Why wouldn't he throw a power punch?

Does he care if nobody outside of Germany wants to see him fight?

Was he really happy with that performance? (he seemed reticent post fight interview)

When asked if the winner of Maskaev/Peter was his #1 Contender, he replied with "Me and my brother had a dream to hold World titles at the same time" :huh

This is coming from someone who considers Wlad the only real hope at Heavyweight clarity, and a sometimes fan. Even you guys defending him h ave to be bitterly disappointed, right?

Why didnt sultan?? He didnt show ****, he didnt presure wlad... wlad was the one that was going after ibra.

The person that should have gone out there and tried to KO was sultan because he was behind... not a guy that was winning.

I wouldn't call Sultan a "KNOWN" KO Artist. Maybe I'm living on another planet but I don't remember him being a known KO artist at all. And he definetely DOESN'T have a proven steel jaw. Where did you get these facts from? Sultan was basically a southpaw with good handspeed, decent pop, and good counter punching skills that was very defensive and wasn't looking to have his chin tested from Wlads right hand.
