    I really liked Ken Burns' Jack Johnson documentary (even if I have sneaking suspicion Ken Burns is a less than sincere person).
    I can't understand how Johnson could possibly have been such a mobile fighter, because that guy had balls the size of cantaloupes.

    Burns is partisan at times but Johnson stood against societal pressures and restraints placed on him few athletes will ever understand....you have to admire his resolve to demand rites or violate the jim crow laws.

    It's not that I object the to the content of what Burns says, I just kinda get the sense that he doesn't entirely mean it. I completely agree about Johnson.
