Mike Perez... http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=438253 Cuban professional boxer best known to win the junior world title at light heavyweight in Jeju in 2004 Defected to Ireland under Hyde Promotions. Ive seen 2 of his fights, very quick handspeed but looks to me to be a Blown-Up Cruiser. Hopefully will be in with some better Competition soon! :hat
I've seen him, he's a good fighter but far too small for a HW. A couple of his fights are on YouTube.
Technically very special , a bit in the mould of Elisier Castillo a cruiser come heavy from a few years back.. but time will tell, he has a good foundation to do something..
if you are not big enough then you have to be fast enough, and he is. ie haye. i honestly believe he will be one for the near future. they should throw him in with the likes of fraudley and skelton to push him forward. yeah i have seen his fights on youtube also.just type mike perez boxing and he will come up to watch.:good
Dont expect that to be an easy fight for Perez, Bonin is a lot tougher than his loss to Haye would suggest. He bullied all 6ft6 and 260lbs worth of Audley Harrison around the ring when they fought and he's very experienced. Perez looks good from what I've seen on youtube, but he's not gonna blast the guy out there like Haye did, expect him to box to a decision win. ANyone have any information on Kertson Manswell from Trinidad? Silver at the Commonwealth games in 2002, and silver in the Pan Am games where he lost to Oliander Solis in the final. Is 16-0 (13 KO's)as a pro and is signing wtih Don King soon. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=263525&cat=boxer
Perez is going to **** up Bonin. The guy is pure awesome. He's not really a blown up cruiser either, he's just built. Great handspeed, puts combinations together well, good body attack, decent looking power aswell.
yeah i think they really want to challange Mike this year this fight can only help bring him along. theres no point in putting him in with guys he can knock out with ease the boy wants a challange! and Bonin fits the bill!
