There is nothing new in the interview.
At this point in time, Hopkins would very likely outpoint him also.

    not likely

last fight we saw that Kovalev can adjust to an opponent who is hard to hit

LOL. Who was Kovalev's last opponent again?

and are you comparing that opponent that no one ever heard of to Bernard Hopkins? :rofl

this isn't a comparison of Agnew to Hopkins, all i'm stating is that Kovalev proved he can adapt to any fighting style

I'd like to see Kovalev fight Braehmer or Chilemba. Braehmer is a southpaw with decent power, so it'd answer some questions about his chin. Chilemba is a slick, awkward counter-puncher who could give Kovalev some trouble. Either fight would answer some questions about Kovalev.

The problem is Kovalev should have needed very little adoption to a fighter like Agnew who used a closed up shell for all of the match.
Agnew was a nobody with very limited B level experience, but still gave Kovalev a good fight.

Hopkins would simply pich Kovalev apart and win an easy UD. :yep

Was Hopkins supposed to lose to Dawson?

At this point in time, Dawson has better proven boxing skills than Kovalev has so far demonstrated.

What fight were you watching?? Agnew was knocked down, lost every f*cking round, and was stopped in the seventh.

At first I just thought you were a bigoted little assh*le who had a bug up his ass about white Eastern Euros. Now it's obvious to me you don't know d*ck about boxing.

He lost to average Pascal before the Hopkins fights.

..and don't reply that Kovalev is average.
