Funnily I saw this list there yesterday too and thought about posting it. Imo it means more beeing ranked for a long time than beeing the ring champ for a short while. Tarver is very impressive. :good

I wonder though, does this list fighters who've been ranked for consecutive weeks or does it include being dropped of the list and then joining it again? say if you moved to another weight for a while?

This I suppose. I think if you move in weight but are ranked in the new weight immediatly it counts although.

2 things really caught my eye though

Tarver as a ranked LHW for almost 11 years and Pac in the P4P list for more than 6 years...

its not that hard to be ranked top10 for 11 years if you are active in the same division for your entire career. I mean you look at the #10 ranked fighter in each division and you'll see it doesn't take much to be ranked above him if you're an elite fighter.

Its harder to stick to 1 division than to stay in the top10

It has to be consecutive. At the ring going up in weight doesnt necessarily mean you lose your ranking at the previous weight, only if you dont return for a long period of time, ie Hatton.
