Why do people keep saying this?

Both Arum and Manny have said random testing is no longer an issue.

The fight should do 3-4 million PPVs at $60, that would be $180-240 million minus HBOs deductions, plus the world rights, plus the gate takings. There should be enough money to make the fight

Koncz admitted the most they'd gone down to is 14days, that's why people keep saying it, keep up

Hes still foolish for not making the fight. The fight will generate a ton of money and enhance his legacy a lot if its as easy as he thinks. He should make the fight and then go back to fighting Ortiz Berto level guys. People really dont want to see those fights anymore from either guy.

Floyd said that in the Ortiz post fight, and he's said it before. Nothing more than a cheap shot to boast that he makes more money than Pacquiao. Yes it was the usual Mayweather bull****.

In any case, Pacquiao pays his promoter a percentage of his earnings, just as Victor Ortiz pays Golden Boy, as Mosley paid them, as Marquez did, etc... why does Pacquiao having a promoter mean Mayweather can't fight him? Floyd just wants to fight inhouse Golden Boy fights where they pay their fighters "chump change", as Ortiz described it, so Mayweather ends up getting a majority of the money.

It is of no concern to Floyd how Pac divides his 50% of his share. Floyd can keep 100% of his share and Pac can give away 100% of his share. Floyd should not care about it since that is Pac's share anyway. Arum will only get 30% of Pac's share and not 30% of the whole purse.

Put it this way. Floyd is his own businessman. He can directly acknowledge the risk he is taking whenever he selects a particular opponent.

Arum is a businessman as well, but he cannot fully assess the risk of pitting Pacquiao in with someone else because he is not Pacquiao himself. Thus in a business sense you can expect Arum to be more averse to this fight happening. This is why you see Pac fighting "leftovers" and such, those who are deemed ok after screening by Team Arum because they are not fighters, they look at data.

Arum, recently, has gone on record saying WADA will need to be introduced for full random testing. And Pacquiao himself, just last week on ESPN (I think), said testing was no longer an issue.

But you're still hanging on what Koncz said all them months ago, and you're telling me to keep up?

That's not the point, the point is is that Arum has VESTED INTERESTS in the fight, and thus is an extra person (obstacle) to get past to get the fight done.

The point is is its ****ing Arum who's in the way, who's (as far as we can tell) trying to get Bradley to fight next.

I understand what you are saying, but I think you over analyze. Fighters having a deal with their promotors only stops fights when Floyd is involved.

Personal issues between Floyd and Arum is just the usual phenomena of Floyd wanting to have it his own way, and **** everybody else. Ego sometimes matters a lot more then rational reasons.

That's not the point. The point is, the fight will happen if Floyd tells Arum that he is willing to fight Pac. Bradley will be relegated to second option.

Why can't it be looked the other way as well? Arum is bitter about Floyd leaving, he'd rather not risk his biggest asset on Floyd, nor give him his biggest payday. Instead, he'll milk his cash cow until we have spoiled milk.
