well pacquiao has fought GBP fighters as recently as 2009 in ricky hatton. even mosley and marquez now is not exactly TR fighters because they signed for one fight only.

when was the last time floyd fought a non-GBP fighter?

 

If they signed with Top Rank for one fight its the same dam thing! It doesnt matter how long they are with TR, it matters the guidelines of the fight, of which Arum is in control of both sides. Arum has always used other fighters as bait, Malignaggi etc, but has always opted for a house fighter or one he has the control of.

 

how about hatton in 2009, oscar and marquez in 2008? the point here is that pac is willing to fight cross-promotional fighters just as recently as 2 years ago. floyd has not fought any fighters outside of GBP since 2006.
