The only reason why Floyd had only 4 fights at welter is because he carefully hand picks there and retires every now and then.

Umm, Mayweather isnt reallly that much bigger than Pac,if at all.
He weighed 150 against Ortiz, Pac weighs in the high 140's even as high as 150 himself on fight night.

Dont see the size diff to be honest.

Due to Pacquiao's size, the style match-up, and Marquez having had 1 fight there, it's a bit better in terms of fairness, but not by too much really. He still has to go above and beyond his normal training regimen to try and prepare himself for the division.

the only difference between Mayweather fighting Marquiez and Pac fighting him for the third time is that Marquez is 2 years older and more shot than when he fought Mayweather. He was knocked down by a glorified journeyman in Katsidis at LW!! C'mon son, if anything Mayweathers win is more legit.

 

Marquez was supposed to be too old back then, and yet Pac is now fighting a version that is 2 years older.
