Why would Manny lie, what does he gain from telling the truth, or a lie as you would have it? If going by the logic that it was all a lie, why suddenly end the farce? :patsch

    Are you ****ing ******ed?

You mean to say that only ever happened after that one fight? You're dumb enough to think that has never happened before? Buboy suddenly got a laptop after the Marquez fight?

I've heard many fighters say they dont study fightfilm.....that they do all their studying in the ring.
......and mostly its fighters like Marquez and Mayweather that will say that.....fighters that really know how to make adjustments on the fly and want to make us believe they're above looking at fight film to prepare for a fight.

Marquez actually explained why he does'nt like to study a fighter on film.......he said he once did, that he had picked up on how a particular fighter would go about throwing his punches and his tendencies......and that when he fought him, he was looking at punches flying on him from a completely different style that he had studied on tape......:lol::lol:
..."he completely turned it around on me and it made it harder for me to decipher him knowing what I've seen of him on film."

......that was Marquez' story for not studying film. He says that for example that if he studied MAB fighting Pacquiao, MAB's style of attack is different from his and so he does'nt want to be brainwashed into an idea that something he would try would'nt work through watching tape.

I dont believe Marquez though.......I say he studied all the tapes of Pac against himself, MAB, and Morales, leading up to his rematch with Pacquiao.

I am still convinced though that Marquez will give Pac a hard time at any weight, even up to 147.

I've been ridiculed in this forum for saying basically the same thing.

I did'nt see Marquez lose all that much speed from when he fought at 135 lbs........I studied that Mayweather tape intently and came to the conclusion that Mayweather is just quick beyond belief that it just seems like Marquez is slow......

I could see Marquez having trouble at 147 lbs with a physical fighter like Cotto.......but Pac is'nt a fighter that imposes his strenghth on a fighter......he comes clearly clean on you and advances purely throwing punches....
....no wrestling, elbowing, putting his shoulder on your face......thats just not Pacquiao......and these types of tactics I described, many of which Mayweather employed, are those that would throw off a smaller fighter like Marquez.

I believe Jim Lampley said it near the end of the JMM-Pacquiao rematch......"they've fought nearly 24 rounds and not a single clinch.....how rare is that?"

......its just Manny coming at you with his fists......a counterpuncher's dream.......and you're absolutely correct Patsys......it does'nt matter if the fight is at 126 lbs or 147 lbs......its the same type of fight everytime.

I can see how Pacquaio probably wouldn't have bothered studying for Marquez II since he figured hey, he KD Marquez 3 times in the first fight, he just needed to fight harder and close the deal. After the 2nd fight, he realised the error of his thinking.

May I ask how long you've followed boxing if ever at all?

How the hell can you get schooled 9 out of the 12 rounds by most boxing media's eyes, and then take this same opponent lightly in a rematch......

I"ll have you know that most *******s in this forum would think your logic is full of phuey!

He did'nt study Marquez for the rematch because he just figured he'd roll him over!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

......Wow, thats dumb even by *******s standards!:lol::lol:
