Interesting take on the Hopkins/Calzaghe situation

Hopkins knows his ass will be beaten by a "white-boy".
I've got thought on that racist slur he made, if Calzaghe had said "I'll never lose to a black-guy" people would have made Joe make public apologies and be fined and everything else. It's strange how somethings are deemed racist, while others are not.

 

i cannot believe how some people under estimate Calzaghe, only one reason for it folks, they just know deep down what that 'white boy' will do to the american hero popkins!!

 

18 years , ive always been a calzaghe fan , watched nearlly all of his fights , seen a tremendous fighter from the making to now , fighting his style and demolishing other fighters ,its you who who should start to realise the true potential of a great fighter as calzaghe! and yea only now he finally gets the recognision from the Usa which sees how good he is except u!

im sure you lost loads of money when you took Lacy to beat calzaghe thats why you got loads of hate right

 

Ok First my friend you need to know boxing! Boxing is a buisness and in buisness people can say hey u dont offer as much as these guys u dont get to fight me! and in this case joe offerd less money than people like Hopkins did to jones or tito or wright did becuase they were already set in america and in america u get more publicity so more money to fight these fights , Calzaghe never had the publicity or money to do this so he just couldnt compete in the financial terms of the agreements where now he has the power,money and publicity to make these fights happen!

Hopkins has publicly stated, (interview is on youtube somewhere) that he has NO interest in facing RJJ/Tito, and will only fight Calzaghe. Nobody else. The question is whether he will face Calzaghe or retire I think, I reckon the fight will come off but it will take a long time.
