Of course, one may say Ali vs Frazier was a unification fight since Ali was a lineal champion but officially he didn't hold any titles when he fought Joe. AJ vs Wlad also can't be called a unification fight since Wlad didn't hold any titles and WBA title, which was additionally on the line, was vacant.
