I think Manny just stuck to his game plan.

Roach was telling him not to get into an exchange, to stick and move.

All it would have taken is one good left hook from Oscar and that would have been all she wrote.

Theres no need to stick to a gameplan when the fighter like DLh is clearly done.. I would go as far as they were giving him an out.
These guys are going to work together in the future..did you hear the post fight interviews...it was abit short of sucking each other cocks

I was thinking the same thing. Manny was covering up letting Panties slap him after he got him hurt. Pacs a saint.

roach already said in an interview that pac was carrying oscar for the last few rounds. he actually told pac in between rounds that he was starting to carry oscar. but pac had too much respect for the legend to finish him off in rounds 7 and 8.

Right....There athletes in a competition...I don't think he carried him....He was gonna ko him in the 9th round...Manny battered him and oscar stayed up some how..not because Manny "carried him"..lmfao...he is a great sportsman though...

yep. pac just backed off inexplicably in the 7th and 8th rounds when he had dlh pinned to the corner helpless and was just pummeling him with power shot after power shot. and we all know that pac is a great finisher.

Nakito mo post-conference? Na kawawa daw kay Oscar. Nakita din ni Roach na kini carry, sinabi na tapusin mo, at yan ang trabajo mo.

    Exactly. All it was, realy.

I think Pac was a bit overwhelmed as to how easy he was pulling it off, but after weeks and weeks of working on this particular strategy, he was kind of on auto pilot.

i think its the game plan going into pac's instinct. he would backoff after unloading an attck to prevent retaliation, the in-and-out tactic. he was so composed for the fight he maintained that tactic even when the opponent is ready to go.
