Around the late 90's and early 00's, the 147lb division was the most richest, most talented division of fighters there ever was. There were plenty of fights that could have been made but destiny chose the fights that only happened. But, from the list of fights I'll make now, which fighter would you choose to win and why:

    - Trinidad/Quartey: Surely either one of these two would have gotten KO'd/TKO'd. I'll give this one to Quartey giving Trinidad a TKO courtesy of his powerful jab.

-Trinidad/Mosely: Forget a TKO, a KO would've DEFINATLY occured in this fight no doubt about it!! I will have to give this one to Mosely giving Tito a brutal boxing lesson and then KO'ing him. With his tremendous speed and solid chin, Mosely would have embarrased Tito.

    - Quartey/Mosely: Interestingly, I would have to give this one to Quartey. It'll probably be like Winky/Mosely, except Quartey has MUCH more power.

    - Mayorga/Trinidad: If Tito would have stayed at 147 and these two would've met (let's say 2003) I would have to give this one to Mayorga. Sorry guys, I know I haven't picked Tito to win in any fight yet, but c'mon, Mayorga was a mini Tyson at welter weight. Well, I'll say Mayorga wins 7 out of 10 just to be fair. If Tito would go to the body, then yes he definatly would win this one.

    - Forrest/De La Hoya: The only reason I'll give this one to Oscar is because of his solid chin, and left hook. It CAN go either way though.

    - Forrest/Trinidad: Ah man, this is a total tossup. I see this one as Tito recieving an ass woopin and then once Tito touches his chin, it's over. Could also go either way though.

Well there you have it. I'm interested in your opinion on each of these fights.

Whitaker vs. Quartey and Trinidad vs. Mosley would've been great. It's crazy some of the fights that never happened in the past, which would've changed history.

Tito - Quartey is one I really wanted to happen at the time. Ike might have won this but I don't think he would have scored a ko - Tito was easy to knock down but very hard to stop.

I'd favour Tito to have beaten Mosley. Shane loves to be aggressive, stay in close and throw power shots. I can't see that leading to anything but disaster against Tito, who would have no problem landing his best shots. I think there's a chance that the iron-chinned Mosley gets stopped.

Also, there's no way Mayorga ever beats Tito. I don't care at what weight they fight or under what circumstance - Tito is simply the superior fighter and will always give Mayorga a beat-down.

Quartey-Whitaker and Forrest-Oscar would have been good from this period also. I'll take Pea and Forrest to take clear decisions in those.

Shane was way too fast back then, I think if anyone one of them were going to land a big shot it would be Shane first. Shane was also a better body puncher than Tito.

Shane was ALWAYS hittable, even in his prime. Not a good thing against Tito.

Shane didn't use his speed to box-and-move and stay out of harms way though - even in his prime, he was always there to be hit. I'm not saying Shane couldn't win, it would be a great fight but I think Shane's willingness to trade would be his un-doing. Tito was a pretty vicious body-puncher in his prime too.

Quartey/Tito would not have ended in a TKo win for either fighter.

It would look like the Wright fight only much much more competitive, 7-5 for either fighter.
