They do not even dominate track and field athletics, so I do not see the point, the United States has more track and field success than they do :yikes

NO, I always knew athletics was a dirty business, if the Western Hemispheres best track stars have used PED's, and or have been accused of PED's, why would Russia be exempt from this? And also Russia is NOT number one in athletics, and consistently comes second place to the United States in the Olympic medal table. They alternate with China for second or third place.

 

I'm only worried about the boxing part. Damn, they are cheating at the amateur level. Wow!:-(

 

You are bringing up the Western Hemisphere when the article is clearly talking about the Eastern Hemisphere.

 

Amateur athletics is not the same as amateur boxing. The article said nothing grave about boxing :deal Although that is not saying much considering boxing is riddled with PED abuse at the international level.
